Jayapura, Feb. 28 -- The Jayapura Immigration Office has prosecuted 115 foreign nationals throughout 2025, a decrease from the previous year's, which was 119.
The Head of the Jayapura Immigration Office, Ben Yuda Karubaba, in Jayapura on Saturday, stated that the decrease indicates positive performance.
"We apprehended the foreign nationals for various immigration violations, ranging from overstaying their permits, misusing their visit visas, to failing to present valid travel documents during inspections," he said.
According to Karubaba, monitoring of foreign nationals will continue to be strengthened through routine operations and joint operations with relevant agencies.
