Jakarta, Oct. 4 -- Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the 2026 Jakarta People's Sports Festival (FOR) at the Jakarta International Velodrome is not only a space to exercise but also fosters togetherness and sportsmanship.

Anung said the festival, held at the velodrome in Pulogadung, East Jakarta, complements the various sports spaces already available in Jakarta, such as Car Free Day (CFD), community activities, and sports competitions.

"What we are pushing for is for more residents to have the opportunity to move and exercise, not limited to athletes or sports communities," he said when opening the event here on Sunday.
