Jakarta, Aug. 24 -- Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung on Monday confirmed the 100 percent completion of the Kelapa Gading-Manggarai section of Jakarta LRT, with President Prabowo Subianto invited to inaugurate the new track.

"We observed and received reports that, in general, the construction of the LRT's rail track and its elevated line has completed 100 percent," Anung stated after inspecting the completed system at Manggarai LRT Station with province officials.

The governor added that a trial of the new system is underway by the Transportation Ministry.

Anung disclosed that the provincial authority has proposed to President Prabowo to inaugurate the new section of LRT Jakarta on Wednesday, August 26.
