Jakarta, Feb. 23 -- Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo said Monday he will strictly regulate padel court operating hours, especially in residential neighborhoods, to prevent disturbances and ensure local residents' daily routines are not disrupted.

"We will regulate the operating hours of padel courts in densely populated areas," Pramono said at Jakarta City Hall, emphasizing that the sport must be enjoyed responsibly with consideration for neighbors.

Pramono cited complaints from residents, including families with infants, whose sleep was disturbed by late-night padel games, calling the situation unfair to the community.
