Jakarta, Nov. 2 -- Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo has voiced full support for police efforts to crack down on drug trafficking, particularly in Kampung Bahari, North Jakarta.

"The Jakarta administration fully supports the National Police's tough action and all-out war on drugs. We fully back the operation in Kampung Bahari," Pramono said at City Hall on Monday.

He said he hoped the fight against drugs would be pursued consistently and without compromise.

He also pledged the city administration's cooperation and support for efforts to eradicate drug trafficking across Jakarta.
