Jakarta, Oct. 10 -- Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo said that the provincial health office oversees 31 public hospitals and 336 community health centers (puskesmas) that have been designated disability-friendly.

"Jakarta has 44 puskesmas, 31 hospitals, and 292 supporting puskesmas, all of which are friendly to people with disabilities," he said during the Special Kids Expo (SPEKIX) 2026 in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Saturday.

He added that Jakarta is among the few regions in Indonesia where all government-run healthcare facilities are disability-friendly.

"Not many provinces provide comprehensive health services [to people with disabilities]," Pramono affirmed.
