Jakarta, Aug. 10 -- Jakarta and Bandung regional authorities reaffirmed their readiness to host the 2026 FIFA ASEAN Cup, whose inaugural edition will be hosted by Indonesia next September to October.

"We are ready to be the host, in synergy with our partners from Jakarta," West Java Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman said after the 2026 FIFA ASEAN Cup coordination meeting with Youth and Sports Minister Erick Thohir in Jakarta on Monday.

The provincial authority has designated Si Jalak Harupat Stadium to host the matches, Suryatman said, as his side will prepare the stadium to align with FIFA standards.
