Yogyakarta, April 12 -- Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Arifatul Choiri Fauzi called on Indonesian women to uphold their role in nurturing generations of excellent, high-quality talents to support national development.

"In actuality, women have a crucial and strategic role in giving birth to superior, quality generations," she remarked in Yogyakarta on Sunday.

Fauzi spoke at the 80th anniversary of Muslimat NU, the women's wing of the Islamic organization Nahdlatul Ulama.
