Jakarta, June 6 -- Minister of Tourism Widiyanti Putri Wardhana stated the increase of foreign tourist arrivals through April 2026 indicates that of Indonesia's tourism sector is in on a positive growth trajectory.

"Indonesian tourism is currently on a positive growth path, driven by an increase in foreign tourist visits and an increase in average tourist spending per visit. It shows that efforts to improve the quality of tourist destinations are beginning to deliver the results," Putri Wardhana remarked in the Ministry of Tourism's Monthly Performance Report, confirmed on Saturday.
