Jakarta, May 6 -- Indonesia's National Police arrested eight suspected terrorists linked to the ISIS-affiliated Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) network in Central Sulawesi.

The operation by Densus 88 targeted eight members of the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah network, said Senior Commissioner Mayndra Eka Wardhana, the anti-terrorism unit's spokesperson, on Wednesday.

He said the arrests were made in raids conducted between 1:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. local time in Poso and Parigi Moutong districts on Wednesday.

Four suspects identified as R (32), AT (29), RP (32), and ZA (37) were arrested in Poso.

The remaining four - identified as A (43), A (46), S (47), and DP (39) - were apprehended in Parigi Moutong.
