Jakarta, Oct. 4 -- Indonesia's National Police, through its counterterrorism force Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88), have arrested 12 individuals suspected of links to terrorist networks in a series of operations carried out across six provinces since Oct. 2.

Densus 88 spokesperson Commissioner General Mayndra Eka Wardhana said in a statement here on Sunday that the suspects were apprehended in West Java, Central Java, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Riau, and North Maluku provinces.

He identified the suspects by their initials as HN, SM, HA, YDKAP, Y, S, CG, J, MG, AF, and MW, aged between 22 and 52.
