Jakarta, June 4 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) is continuing efforts to strengthen governance and legal certainty in the implementation of national housing programs.

Housing and Settlement Areas Minister Maruarar Sirait emphasized that successful housing development programs must be supported by good governance and compliance with prevailing regulations.

"Good intentions must be accompanied by good governance. Therefore, we came here to consult with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) regarding regulations and legal certainty in implementing the ministry's housing programs," he said in a statement on Thursday.
