Indonesian immigration detains British man over disturbance
Tangerang, Banten, April 16 -- Immigration authorities in Tangerang have detained a British national, identified as DH, for allegedly causing a disturbance at a pet boarding facility in Ciputat, South Tangerang City, Banten Province, officials said.
Hasanin, head of the Class I Non-Border Immigration Office in Tangerang, said on Wednesday that DH allegedly created a commotion by pushing the gate of a cat boarding facility and refusing to pay service fees.
"He was also reported to have carried a sharp weapon and threatened local residents," Hasanin said, adding that his office has coordinated with the British Embassy regarding the handling of the case.
