Jakarta, April 29 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Transportation has summoned the management of Green SM taxi following a train collision at East Bekasi Station, West Java, on April 27.

Director General of Land Transportation Aan Suhanan said in a statement on Tuesday that the ministry had called in the management of Xanh SM, also known as Green SM, for clarification.

The ministry has formed a special team to investigate the taxi operator's involvement, including licensing, administrative requirements, safety standards, and operational compliance.

"Our principle is to prioritize public safety. Any potential violations will be handled in accordance with regulations," he said.
