Indonesian govt shifts transmigration focus to human capital
Jakarta, Aug. 7 -- Indonesia is prioritizing human capital development to transform transmigration areas into new engines of regional growth, National Development Planning Minister and head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Rachmat Pambudy said.
Speaking at the launch of the Patriot Expedition 2026, Rachmat said people-centered development is essential to preparing future generations to drive change in communities while ensuring no one is left behind, according to a Bappenas statement released on Friday.
