Indonesian govt sets roadmap to ensure child safety online
Jakarta, June 9 -- Indonesia's Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Arifah Fauzi said the Road Map for Child Protection in the Digital Space (PARD) is intended to ensure children have access to a safe digital environment.
She said the roadmap will guide national child protection policies in the digital sphere through 2029 through three strategies: prevention, response services for victims, and stronger collaboration among 15 ministries and institutions.
According to Arifah, the government's commitment is reflected in Government Regulation No. 17 of 2025 and Presidential Regulation No. 87 of 2025 on the roadmap.
