Jakarta, April 7 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower will provide rewards and program priority to companies facilitating competency certification for participants of the National Internship program.

Minister Yassierli said on Tuesday the policy aims to ensure the internship program leads to recognized competencies required in the job market.

He emphasized that internships should not only provide work experience but also produce competent workers with certification issued by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).

According to the minister, the business sector plays a strategic role in preparing job-ready workers by supporting participants in obtaining competency certificates.
