Jakarta, June 2 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower and the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) are offering certification in 15 competency areas for graduates of the government's National Internship program, known as MagangHub.

"Competency certification is a crucial instrument to ensure MagangHub graduates receive formal recognition of their skills and are better positioned to compete in the labor market," Manpower Minister Yassierli said on Tuesday.

He said the certification initiative complements the National Internship program, which aims to improve workforce quality and narrow the gap between available skills and industry demand.
