Jakarta, July 27 -- The Manpower Ministry is pursuing labor-sector transformation through vocational training and green-office initiatives to build a productive, modern and sustainable workforce and bureaucracy.

Manpower Minister Yassierli said Monday that vocational training programs were being expanded to meet business and industry needs.

One initiative, the National Internship Program, or MagangHub, aims to enroll 150,000 participants in 2026.

"The program brings job seekers closer to industry, helping reduce skills mismatches. Participants gain work experience, skills certificates and allowances," Yassierli said.
