Jakarta, April 10 -- Indonesia's Ministry for the Protection of Migrant Workers (P2MI) is supporting a health polytechnic in Aceh to prepare graduates for jobs abroad, aiming to boost the global competitiveness of Indonesian health workers.

The support was conveyed by Deputy Minister Christina Aryani after visiting the Health Polytechnic in Aceh on Thursday, according to an official statement released Friday.

"This is a strategic step, as students are equipped not only with technical competencies but also with foreign language skills such as English and Japanese," Aryani said.
