Jakarta, July 23 -- Indonesian cosmetics generated potential transactions of Rp26.35 billion (about US$1.4 million) at Cosmobeaute Philippines 2026, marking the industry's first participation in the exhibition, Indonesia's trade office in Manila said.

The transaction potential reflects strong Philippine market interest in Indonesian cosmetics, Indonesian Trade Attache Rahayu Ningsih said in a statement Thursday.

"We are optimistic that quality Indonesian cosmetics will be welcomed and remain competitive in the Philippine market," Rahayu said.

The Indonesian Pavilion showcased eight companies offering makeup, serums, body lotions, hair-care, baby-care and fragrance products, as well as essential oils.
