Jakarta, April 30 -- Indonesian Army (TNI AD) Chief of Staff General Maruli Simanjuntak reported that the force had opened clean water access at 7,217 locations across Indonesia since 2020.

He made the statement during a military unit commander gathering at Defense University in Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (April 29), according to a press release received here on Thursday.

Simanjuntak explained that the clean water program is driven by his concerns over limited clean water access in drought-prone regions, citing his field observations over the years.
