Jakarta, April 10 -- Indonesian Ambassador to Oman and Yemen Andi Rahadian on Friday pledged to strengthen bilateral relations with both countries.
"I will carry out the duties assigned by the president to enhance bilateral relations in political, economic, social, cultural, protocol, and consular fields," he said at the State Palace in Jakarta.
He also said he would follow government directives in responding to geopolitical developments in the Middle East.
President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Rahadian as ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Yemen on Friday.
The appointment was based on Presidential Decree No. 31/P of 2026, with Rahadian to be based in Muscat.
