Jakarta, Aug. 1 -- The Indonesian Air Force has taken delivery of a new NC-212i light transport aircraft from state-owned manufacturer PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI), marking the eighth delivery under a nine-aircraft defense procurement contract with the Ministry of Defense.

The aircraft, bearing tail number A-211, arrived at Abdulrachman Saleh Air Force Base in Malang, East Java, on Thursday, July 30, following a direct ferry flight from PTDI's facility in Bandung. It will join Air Squadron 4 under Transport Group 1.
