Jakarta, April 9 -- Indonesia has not made a decision on withdrawing its Defense Forces (TNI) personnel from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said.
"If the question is about a withdrawal decision, it has not been made. However, following yesterday's incident, the government needs to coordinate," he told reporters at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Wednesday (April 8).
He said the government, through the Foreign Affairs Ministry, is still coordinating and evaluating the incident involving TNI personnel in Lebanon.
According to Hadi, any decision on a possible withdrawal will depend on the outcome of the ongoing evaluation, including developments on the ground.
