Jakarta, March 23 -- The Indonesian Navy's new warship, KRI Prabu Siliwangi-321, arrived in Indonesia on Monday after departing from Italy.
Rear Admiral Tunggul, Head of the Indonesian Navy Information Service, confirmed that the vessel has reached Indonesian waters and is currently docked in Lampung for re-equipment.
"That's right. The KRI Prabu Siliwangi-321 has arrived in Indonesia. It is currently docked in Lampung for re-equipment," Tunggul said in Jakarta on Monday.
He added that the ship is scheduled to depart from Lampung for Jakarta on March 26 to attend an official welcoming ceremony.
The Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) formally received KRI Prabu Siliwangi-321 following its completion by the Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri.
