Indonesia vows impartial probe into free meal corruption
Jakarta, July 4 -- The Indonesian government is enforcing the law impartially, including in cases related to the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program, Head of the Government Communications Agency (Bakom) Muhammad Qodari said.
His remarks came in response to the alleged involvement of an active military officer and the designation of an active police officer as a suspect in an alleged corruption case involving the management of the MBG program.
Speaking in Jakarta on Saturday, Qodari said the Attorney General's Office (AGO) is actively investigating alleged corruption within the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) covering the 2025-2026 period.
