Indonesia uses AI to crack down on online gambling sites
Medan, North Sumatra, May 13 -- The Ministry of Communication and Digital enhanced the use of artificial intelligence (AI)-based technology as a form of commitment to combating online gambling sites in Indonesia.
"We remain committed to seeking and using technology developed by the nation's youth," Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid said in Medan on Wednesday.
To date, her ministry has blocked access to approximately 3.2 million online gambling sites and continues to strengthen eradication efforts.
"Basically, the content continues to replicate. That's what we found in the Hayam Wuruk case," Hafid stated.
