Jakarta, April 8 -- Indonesia's Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Meutya Hafid, said Meta and Google must complete required documents following summons over alleged violations of the Governance of Electronic Systems for Child Protection (PP Tunas).
Hafid said the ministry had questioned the two companies earlier this week over suspected breaches of Government Regulation No. 17 of 2025, which governs electronic system operators in protecting children.
"This has entered the three-day period for completing the required documents," she told reporters at the presidential palace in Jakarta on Wednesday.
