Jakarta, Sept. 23 -- Indonesia has called on China to bolster regional stability and peace while reaffirming its support for ASEAN centrality, as Southeast Asia navigates an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape.

Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Djamari Chaniago highlighted the crucial role of bilateral ties between Jakarta and Beijing in underpinning regional security during China's 77th National Day celebration in Jakarta on Tuesday evening (September 22).
