Jakarta, Jan. 26 -- Indonesia has officially launched the logo for its chairmanship of the Developing Eight (D-8) economic cooperation organization for the 2026-2027 period.

According to a written statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received here on Monday, the logo combines the symbol of the Nusantara compass with a guiding light, or "jyoti," representing direction, hope, and strategic orientation.

Eight star-shaped elements symbolize the eight D-8 member countries united in a single configuration, reflecting a shared determination to strengthen economic integration, connectivity, and collective prosperity.
