Jakarta, Nov. 3 -- Indonesia's investment body Danantara is scheduled to begin construction on its flagship Hajj Village project in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, this coming December, following a strategic land acquisition finalized in October.

Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani stated that he had briefed President Prabowo Subianto on the progress of preparations during a limited cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta onTuesday.

"I provided an update regarding the development in Saudi Arabia. The architects are scheduled to visit Indonesia to present a comprehensive plan, as the goal is to hold a groundbreaking ceremony-or begin construction-in December," Rosan, who also serves as the Investment and Downstreaming Minister, said....
