Jakarta, Sept. 25 -- The Ministry of Culture is partnering with the Danantara Indonesia Trust to accelerate the restoration and revitalization of the National Museum of Indonesia following a fire that damaged parts of the complex.

"We will repair the two buildings, the structures that were damaged by the fire. Hopefully, we can realize this in the near future," Minister of Culture Fadli Zon said during the inauguration of the Danantara Library at the National Museum in Jakarta on Friday.

Fadli said he hoped the revitalization could be expedited because the funding would not rely on the State Budget (APBN).
