Indonesia to keep Rp281 trillion in state banks to support liquidity
Jakarta, June 29 -- The Ministry of Finance has decided to maintain the placement of Rp281 trillion (approximately US$15.7 billion) in state cash funds with state-owned banks that are members of the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) until the end of December 2026.
In addition, the ministry has set aside an additional Rp100 trillion in standby funds that can be deployed if banks require additional liquidity, Deputy Finance Minister Juda Agung said on Monday.
