Jakarta, June 15 -- Indonesia is set to host the second Indonesia-Germany Joint Economic and Investment Committee (JEIC) meeting later this year, marking a significant step forward in strengthening bilateral cooperation across several sectors.

Speaking after a meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Jakarta on Monday, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto noted that he and Steinmeier discussed strengthening the partnership between the two nations, particularly in economy, investment, energy transition, security, and labor.
