Jakarta, Aug. 2 -- Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Sudaryono reiterated his commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against food safety incidents and irregularities in the implementation of the Free Nutritional Meals (MBG) program.

He made the statement after visiting students from SMK Negeri 6 Semarang who were affected by an alleged food safety incident at several hospitals in Semarang on Saturday.

"As the new Head of BGN, I will ensure zero tolerance for food poisoning, corruption, and dishonest practices, such as embezzlement," he said in an official statement in Jakarta, Sunday.
