Indonesia targets Rp13,000T investment for 8% economic growth
Jakarta, Oct. 8 -- Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Roeslani said Indonesia needs up to Rp13,000 trillion in investment to achieve 8 percent economic growth.
"In the next five years, the investment target for us to achieve 8 percent growth is more than Rp13,000 trillion," Roeslani said here on Wednesday.
According to him, investment realization in Indonesia has continued to increase, with investment accounting for an average of 28 to 29 percent in previous years.
"At present, investment's contribution is approaching 38 to 39 percent. Over the last 10 years, investment has been worth roughly Rp9,100 trillion," Roeslani added.
