Jakarta, April 15 -- The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology reaffirmed Indonesia's openness to collaborate with global educational institutions to boost national capacity, particularly in the fields of talent development, research, and innovation.
This was highlighted by the ministry's Director General of Research and Development, Fauzan Adziman, at the 5th Education Investment Forum (EIF) 2026 in Jakarta on Tuesday (April 14).
"International cooperation should not be seen merely as expanding access to education, but must be directed toward fostering strategic partnerships that impact long-term national development needs," he said in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.
