Jakarta, July 15 -- The domestically produced N219 aircraft is expected to play a vital role in supporting essential pioneer flight routes across the Indonesian archipelago, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono stated.

He noted that many regional leaders-particularly those governing remote and isolated areas-have expressed a critical need for tactical air connectivity due to challenging geographic conditions that are simply inaccessible to large aircraft.

"This is where the demand from local governments and business players aligns. Why? Because of limited infrastructure. Our focus must be on pioneer flight routes," Yudhoyono noted here on Wednesday.
