Jakarta, April 30 -- The Ministry of Forestry stated that the designation of customary forests has so far reached 174 units, covering a total area of around 368,877 hectares, and strengthening efforts, including policy framework, are also being carried out.

According to a statement received here on Thursday, Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni, accompanied by Deputy Minister Rohmat Marzuki, led a routine meeting with the Task Force for the Acceleration of Customary Forest Status Designation in Jakarta as part of efforts to achieve a target of 1.4 million hectares.
