Indonesia speeds up charging station expansion to match EV growth
Jakarta, Aug. 11 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is accelerating the expansion of public electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLUs) to keep pace with the growth of electric vehicles (EVs) through cross-stakeholder collaboration.
"SPKLU development opens up opportunities for various business models. This diversity is expected to drive business participation and speed up charging infrastructure deployment," said Wahyudi Joko Santoso, Coordinator for Smart Grid, Electric Charging, and Storage Development, as quoted from the ministry's official website on Tuesday.
