Jakarta, Aug. 11 -- Indonesia's soft tennis squad is targeting two silver medals through seven athletes competing at the upcoming 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, team officials announced on Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters in Jakarta, national team manager Qamariah Ferly Montolalu cited powerhouse regional competitors as the primary reason for setting measured expectations ahead of the Sept. 19 to Oct. 4 multi-sport event.

"Looking at the balance of power, it is quite tough for us. So a realistic goal for us is silver medals," Montolalu said.

The Indonesian Soft Tennis Association (PP Pesti) will field five men and two women across five events: men's singles, women's singles, men's team, women's team, and mixed doubles.
