Jakarta, April 17 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Youth and Sports has streamlined 191 ministerial regulations into four new rules under a deregulation initiative aimed at boosting operational efficiency to support youth and sports development programs.
Addressing the press after a meeting with Law Minister Supratman Andi Agtas in Jakarta on Friday, Sports Minister Erick Thohir explained that the four simplified regulations primarily cover youth development, sports promotion, sports achievements, the sports industry, and sports tourism.
The four provisions took effect after being signed by Thohir and promulgated by the Directorate General of Legislation at the Ministry of Law.
