Indonesia seeks stronger film cooperation with Saudi Arabia
Jakarta, May 14 -- Indonesia's Culture Minister Fadli Zon encouraged stronger film collaboration with Saudi Arabia during the Cannes Film Festival in France.
According to a Culture Ministry press release issued on Thursday, Zon attended several festival events, including a meeting with Abdullah Alayaf, Film Commission and Red Sea Program Director, on Wednesday.
He said film cooperation is an important part of strengthening cultural diplomacy between the two countries amid growing bilateral ties in the cultural sector.
