Jakarta, March 5 -- The Indonesian government is currently negotiating the release of two tankers belonging to PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) that remain in the Strait of Hormuz.
"There are two cargo ships owned by Pertamina currently in the Strait of Hormuz. The vessels are docked to find safer locations while we negotiate," Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia stated on Wednesday (March 4).
The state-owned oil company, Pertamina, has guaranteed the safety of the crews amid the ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran.
