Denpasar, Bali, Oct. 13 -- Deputy Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Hanif Faisol Nurofiq said green investment and the development of the clean energy sector offer crucial strategic opportunities to address the challenges posed by climate change.

"This is where green investment becomes highly strategic," Nurofiq said at the Bali Climate Week 2026 forum in Bali on Tuesday.

He explained that investment opportunities span several key sectors, including clean energy, low-emission industries, waste management, and sustainable transportation.

Green buildings, sustainable agriculture, and the protection and restoration of forests, mangroves, peatlands, and coastal ecosystems also play vital roles, he added.
