Jakarta, April 30 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is seeking to enhance the technical involvement of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in Saudi Arabia, including by proposing additional personnel to improve coordination with local authorities.

Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak said in Jakarta on Thursday that the move aims to improve the regulation and management of Hajj operations, while ensuring better protection for Indonesian pilgrims.
