Indonesia seeks 30,000 managers for village cooperatives
Jakarta, April 21 -- Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya hosted Cooperatives Minister Ferry Juliantono at his Jakarta office on Monday night (April 20) to discuss the recruitment of 30,000 managers under the Red and White Village Cooperatives (KDMP) program.
In an Instagram post cited on Tuesday, the Cabinet Secretariat said the meeting focused on centralized recruitment, which is taking place from April 15 to 24.
The government plans to deploy selected candidates to manage cooperative operations, supported by staff recruited from local communities after completing two months of training in managerial skills and cooperative fundamentals.
