Jakarta, Sept. 17 -- Indonesia has secured Rp88.1 trillion (US$4.96 billion) in investment commitments from Chinese companies under the Two Countries Twin Parks (TCTP) cooperation framework, Indonesia's Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs said.

The ministry's Deputy for Commerce and Digital Economy Coordination Ali Murtopo Simbolon said the framework provides a strategic platform to deepen economic ties between Indonesia and China.

"This partnership is aimed not only at boosting investment but also strengthening industrial connectivity, supply chains, technology transfer, added value, and job creation in Indonesia," Simbolon said in an official statement on Thursday.
