Indonesia says skilled workers key to high-integrity carbon market
Jakarta, Sept. 7 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Forestry has emphasized that strengthening human resources is key to developing a credible, transparent, and high-integrity national carbon market.
Senior advisor to the Minister of Forestry Edo Mahendra said in a statement issued in Jakarta on Monday that strengthening human resources must go hand in hand with efforts to bolster the national regulatory framework.
The effort is to ensure that forestry-sector carbon trading delivers tangible benefits for climate action, forest conservation, and local communities.
